“What do you want, Zico?” Yongguk growled, pacing the room with angry, ill-contained energy. “I don’t have time for this.”
“Jepp—” the younger man started.
“Don’t call me that.” Yongguk snarled. Zico held up his hands placatingly.
“Yongguk,” he corrected himself. “Look. I know you’re missing Youngjae. They took Ukwon too. But I know where to find them.”
The pacing man froze. Zico suppressed a grim chuckle. He finally had his full attention. “We may have our differences in how we do things, but when someone hurts one of our own, we don’t rest…” Zico said, standing so he was eye to eye with his old friend. His expression hardened into a deadly smile. “…until we take them down.”
Yongguk’s eyes glinted. “Fine. Partners. One more time.”
Zico grinned as he shook his hand. “Just like old times.”
